So a couple of weeks ago I waxed my legs and now that the hair is growing back I have a lot of ingrown hairs. I exfoliate and put lotion on every single day and I thought that was supposed to help prevent this from happening. Hardly anybody shaves there (except men's beards), everybody waxes, mostly at salons, cheaper and quicker compared to US, so it is not worth doing it at home.
I have tried most US commercial waxes. most of them can not be heated enough, so they do not act so well. If you can find a high temperature wax preferably one with algae, etc (the dark brown or dark green kind) You will have better results, just be careful with burns. test it with the tip of your finger.

It is a little bit difficult to do it on your own, at the beginning I had a hard time, so if not a salon, perhaps you could ask a friend/family member??? They will be able to press your skin tight before pulling, it will be quicker and the little pain pang will last less and also see if any hairs have been missed.

ya u can, i did it a few years ago, it didnt hurt a lot, becuase i did that before i started shaving though. i wouldnt use hot wax though, use the veet waxes that you warm up by rubbing it with ur hands

hmm well the thing with nair is it can smell funny, and you dont wonna be smelling in that area, and without testing it, you could be very sensitive to it without knowing it, even if you use it on your legs, the skin in that area tends to be more sensitive than others. I myself shave my bikini line, but that can leave red bumps. I would say wax, if you're okay with the pain of it. That will give you the best look afterwards compaired to the others. And if you're afraid you might do it wrong, go out and get it waxed at a salon. It can be costly some places, but if they do it, and you dont like the way that it turns out maybe you'll luck out and they'll refund you some of your money.
